Originally constructed in 1796 and used as a parsonage, the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern became a tavern in 1890 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Bergen County, N.J. landmark features an updated classic American menu.

A Night Inn Manhattan
.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
.5 oz Croft Ruby Red Port
.5 oz Meletti Amaro
2.5 oz 1776 James E. Pepper Rye
3 dash Angostura Bitters
4 dash Orange Bitters
Gently stir all ingredients with ice.
Strain into chilled glass.
Garnish with an orange peel or cherry.
