MRM News: The Halal Guys’ Franchise Journey

The Halal Guys started 25 years ago as a food cart and is now growing via a national brick-and-mortar expansion. In this MRM News clip, Khattab Abuattieh, Director of Operations for the New Jersey, Long Island, New York, Washington, D.C, Virginia and Delaware territories, discusses the brand’s journey. The lines were out the door a few months ago when his new store opened in Teterboro, directly across from the Teterboro Airport.

As the company expands nationwide, the lines for their chicken-over-rice platter remain long at the original 53rd Street and Sixth Avenue location. In the past year, The Halal Guys have opened sites in Newark and Union, NJ, as well as Atlanta, Seattle, San Francisco, and Dallas, Philadelphia and New Orleans.
