What’s on Willie Degel’s Plate?

In this MRM News story, Willie Degel discusses the importance of sourcing ingredients. The former Food Network star and proprietor of three  Uncle Jack’s Steakhouses in New York City recently added two new restaurant concepts to his portfolio that follow the health and wellness and sustainability trend. Uncle Jack’s Meat House opened in suburban Atlanta last summer and is coming soon to Astoria, NY. The farm-to-table menu emphasizes natural, organic and sustainable ingredients, shareable starters, and every item made completely from scratch. Jack’s Shack on Long Island, Degel’s first fast casual concept, also features healthy and sustainable ingredients.

Degel also talks about his plans to connect with aspiring restaurateurs through a new media outlet: a podcast.
